Outside Sales Representative – Heavy Equipment
Lincoln / Omaha, Nebraska
If you enjoy building long-term customer relationships, managing your own territory, and being trusted to run your business with a high degree of independence, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
I'm recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-owned company that's expanding its presence in Nebraska. They're looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative who wants more than simply maintaining an existing territory—they're looking for someone who wants to help build one.
You'll inherit an established customer base while developing new business throughout Nebraska. Rather than simply selling products, you'll become a trusted resource for contractors, municipalities, equipment dealers, aggregate producers, commercial agriculture, and other industrial customers who rely on dependable solutions and responsive service.
This is a relationship-driven sales role. Approximately 60% of your time will be spent calling on customers, visiting job sites, identifying opportunities, and strengthening relationships. The remainder of your time will include preparing quotes, following up on opportunities, coordinating orders, maintaining your CRM, and helping support the continued growth of the Nebraska operation.
The leadership team isn't looking for someone who simply wants another sales position. They're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, building long-term customer relationships, and helping grow a successful territory.
We're especially interested in speaking with professionals who have experience in:
If you've built a successful career selling technical products and developing customer relationships, we'd still like to hear from you, even if your background isn't an exact match.
Compensation & Benefits
If you're looking for an opportunity where your effort directly impacts your success—and where you'll have the autonomy to build something meaningful—I would welcome the opportunity to tell you more.
All inquiries will be handled with complete confidentiality.
After moving to the U.S. from England and beginning her career in the IT industry, Kinga saw a problem that needed to be fixed.
There was a disconnect between job seekers and employers, leading to a frustrating recruiting process and, worse, poor hires.
So in 1998, Kinga started her own search firm—Leaders IT Recruitment in Lincoln, Nebraska— to bridge the gap, and she hasn’t looked back since. The firm has grown organically through satisfied clients’ word-of-mouth referrals and blossomed into Insight Recruitment which, 20 years later, has worked with job candidates and businesses across the country by setting the bar for what a recruitment agency should be.
“We get our clients’ attention by giving them the clarity they need to make better decisions for themselves,” Kinga says. “We’ve helped candidates secure truly life-changing jobs, and we’ve made a massive impact on companies needing the right mix of people to ensure their success continues.”
Kinga sees the right qualities in applicants and the bottom line for businesses. She makes sure her small-but-mighty team keeps its eye on one thing above all else: follow through.
“Our tools, strategies and focus have evolved like any growing business, but our core values have not,” Kinga says. “We focus on quality, high-touch service from the start, and our passion shows. I’ve been lucky enough to hire people who align with Insight’s philosophy on service.”
It’s that partnership attitude that differentiates Insight from the crowd.
