Dynamics 365 CRM Developer (Remote)

Posted: 07/07/2026 Industry: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Job Number: 3630497

Job Description

Join a growing Microsoft Solutions Partner where you'll work on a wide variety of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement projects for mid-market organizations. If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, working directly with clients, and building modern Microsoft solutions, this is an opportunity to work with a collaborative consulting team while remaining fully remote.

Unlike internal corporate development roles, you'll have the opportunity to work across multiple client environments, stay current with the latest Microsoft technologies, and help design solutions that make a real business impact.

Previous Microsoft consulting or partner experience is highly valued but not required.

What You'll Do

As a senior member of the CRM practice, you'll work closely with solution architects, functional consultants, and clients to design, build, and support Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop custom Dynamics 365 CE solutions using C#, .NET, and JavaScript
  • Build plugins, custom workflows, and Power Platform extensions
  • Develop PowerApps Component Framework (PCF) controls
  • Design and execute data migrations using KingswaySoft
  • Participate in Dynamics CRM on-premises to Dynamics 365 cloud migration projects
  • Configure and customize Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Service
  • Design scalable technical solutions that align with Microsoft best practices
  • Gather technical requirements directly from clients and participate in discovery sessions
  • Lead technical discussions, demonstrations, and solution reviews with customers
  • Collaborate with Business Central, BI, and functional consulting teams on integrated client solutions
  • Troubleshoot existing customizations and recommend improvements
  • Produce technical documentation and deployment guidance
  • Contribute to ongoing modernization and optimization initiatives across client environments

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of hands-on Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM/CE) development experience
  • Strong experience developing in Dynamics 365 Online (cloud)
  • Advanced C#/.NET development experience
  • Strong JavaScript experience for client-side customization
  • Experience developing PCF controls
  • Experience with Dataverse, plugins, security model, business rules, and Power Automate
  • Experience with KingswaySoft or similar migration tools
  • Experience designing technical CRM solutions and recommending best practices
  • Comfortable working directly with clients and translating business requirements into technical solutions
  • Excellent communication and consulting skills
  • Self-starter who enjoys working independently while collaborating with distributed teams

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience working for a Microsoft Partner or consulting organization
  • Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, or Application Insights
  • Power Platform experience beyond CRM
  • Power BI or Power Pages experience
  • Microsoft certifications such as PL-400, MB-210, MB-230, or PL-600
  • Experience supporting CRM cloud migrations from on-premises environments

Why This Opportunity?

This role offers the chance to work across a diverse portfolio of client projects rather than supporting a single internal system. You'll collaborate with experienced Microsoft professionals, stay current on emerging technologies, and have the opportunity to influence solution design while remaining hands-on technically.

The team values professionals who are curious, collaborative, and motivated to continue learning. You'll work in a highly autonomous environment where your expertise and initiative are trusted.

Location

  • 100% Remote (U.S.)
  • Minimal travel (typically less than 10%)
