An established organization in the Frisco, Texas area is seeking a Business Central Techno-Functional Analyst to serve as a key resource supporting, enhancing and extending Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across the business. This role combines functional ERP expertise, business process analysis, user support, reporting, integrations and light-to-moderate technical capabilities.
This is an onsite position based in Frisco, TX. Candidates must currently reside within commuting distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Relocation assistance is not available.
What You'll Be Doing
Business Central Support & Administration
• Serve as a primary Business Central resource for users across operational and financial functions
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving transactions, posting, permissions, master data, configuration and process flows
• Support users across sales, purchasing, finance, accounting, inventory planning and warehouse operations
• Identify recurring issues, perform root cause analysis and recommend improvements
• Help maintain system integrity through documentation, process discipline and change management
• Drive standardization and optimization of business processes
System Enhancements & Technical Support
• Assist with Business Central configuration, extensions and enhancements
• Support testing and maintenance of upgrade-safe customizations
• Create or modify pages, queries, reports, workflows and role centers
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external development resources on enhancements and issue resolution
• Participate in solution reviews, testing, documentation and release activities
Reporting, Integrations & Process Improvement
• Support reporting requirements and reporting process improvements
• Assist with data exports and controlled data sharing
• Support integrations utilizing Business Central APIs, web services and middleware solutions
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency
Requirements Gathering & Project Support
• Gather and document business requirements
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and actionable system changes
• Participate in fit-gap analysis and solution design discussions
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and deployment readiness activities
• Develop training materials, user guides and supporting documentation
Required Experience
• 3+ years of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central experience (exceptional candidates with somewhat less experience may be considered)
• Experience supporting Business Central in a techno-functional, functional analyst, systems analyst or ERP support capacity
• Strong understanding of order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, inventory and warehouse processes
• Experience troubleshooting production issues and supporting end users in a fast-paced ERP environment
• Experience creating or modifying reports, workflows, pages, queries and related Business Central configurations
• Familiarity with Business Central extension architecture and AL development concepts
• Experience with APIs, OData, SOAP web services and integration methodologies
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Accounting, Supply Chain or a related field preferred but not required
• Experience supporting cloud-based Dynamics 365 Business Central environments
• Exposure to reporting platforms, data warehousing initiatives and modern Microsoft technologies
