Are you the consultant everyone turns to when a project gets challenging?

We're partnering with a growing Microsoft-focused software organization looking to add a Senior Business Central Functional Consultant to its professional services team. This isn't a traditional consulting position where you're simply executing implementations. You'll become one of the senior customer-facing advisors, helping lead complex client engagements while influencing how implementations evolve as the organization continues to scale.

What You'll Do

• Lead functional implementations from discovery through go-live, including solution design, configuration, testing, training and deployment.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for customers throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Business Central solutions.
• Configure standard Business Central functionality while working alongside technical resources and implementation partners.
• Participate in discovery sessions, solution discussions, demonstrations and project scoping.
• Train end users and administrators while developing documentation and implementation best practices.
• Provide functional guidance during complex customer situations and help drive successful project outcomes.
• Partner closely with internal product, consulting and customer-facing teams to continuously improve implementation methodology.
• Provide thoughtful feedback to the product organization by identifying recurring customer needs, enhancement opportunities and process improvements.
• Help influence how the consulting organization leverages AI, automation and modern implementation practices to improve customer outcomes.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central functional consulting experience.
• Experience leading Business Central implementations from discovery through deployment.
• Strong knowledge of core Business Central modules, including Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Jobs/Projects and Fixed Assets.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops and advising business stakeholders.
• Comfortable collaborating with implementation partners and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to confidently engage with executive-level customer stakeholders.
• A consultative mindset with the ability to balance customer requests against scalable solution design.
• Curiosity around AI and process improvement, with examples of how you've incorporated modern tools or automation into your consulting approach.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification is a plus.
• Experience working with ISV or industry-specific Business Central solutions is a plus.

Travel

Approximately 20-25% travel, primarily for customer meetings, strategic implementations and key project milestones. This is not a road-warrior position.
