Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business analysts and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and testable solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain customizations within the Acumatica Cloud xRP Platform using C#.NET and T-SQL.
  • Build and manage REST API integrations with Acumatica Web Services and third-party systems to extend ERP functionality.
  • Conduct unit and workflow testing for implemented and upgraded customizations; support internal and user acceptance testing processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with team members and clients, providing reliable and responsive support.
  • Create and refine Generic Inquiries, Dashboards, and Reports within Acumatica to enhance usability and data visibility.
  • Maintain organized source control practices and thorough documentation throughout all stages of development.
  • Stay current with Acumatica’s evolving development framework, features, and best practices.

  • Continue developing Acumatica and related technical skills through certification and ongoing learning.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the Acumatica Developer Tools and Cloud xRP Platform.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Visual Studio with C#.NET using ASP.NET (Classic UI) and TypeScript (Modern UI).
  • Experienced with GitHub or equivalent version control systems.
  • Skilled in Microsoft SQL Server and Internet Information Services (IIS).
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing competing priorities independently.
  • Understanding of ERP workflows, business processes, and customization best practices.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with industries such as distribution, manufacturing, construction, or services.


Experience and Education

  • 3+ years of software development experience using the Acumatica Cloud xRP Platform, C#.NET, and T-SQL.
  • Demonstrated success developing and supporting custom Acumatica solutions across multiple industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Current Acumatica Application Developer Certification required.
  • Acumatica Integration Developer Certification preferred; Mobile Developer Certification a plus.
