Senior Commercial Construction Project Manager

Lincoln, Nebraska | Full-time | Onsite | Confidential search

Lead the projects. Shape the process. Build a career that lasts. If you are already delivering commercial construction projects successfully but want more influence, stronger relationships and a company that invests in your future, this opportunity deserves a closer look.

Why this opportunity stands apart

A genuine seat at the table: work closely with leadership, contribute ideas and see decisions turn into action.

The chance to own outcomes and strengthen client relationships—not just administer schedules.

A close-knit, family-oriented workplace known for investing significantly in its people and helping them grow.

An established business where long-serving team members demonstrate that people can build lasting careers.

Broader exposure, professional development and a meaningful opportunity to help shape what comes next.

The opportunity

An established Lincoln-area commercial general contractor is seeking a Senior Project Manager who takes full ownership of commercial building projects and is equally comfortable collaborating on estimates and scopes. Expect approximately 75–80% project management and 20–25% estimating involvement. You will have the opportunity to help shape execution, strengthen client relationships and contribute to the next stage of the company’s growth.

What you will own

Own commercial building projects from planning and buyout through construction, closeout and lasting client relationships.

Lead schedules, budgets, costs, subcontractors, trade coordination, quality and accountability across the full project.

Drive execution—not simply monitor milestones—and proactively solve problems before they become client problems.

Partner in estimating: review estimates, assemble scopes, solicit and compare subcontractor bids, and connect preconstruction decisions to field delivery.

Build trust with clients and trade partners, including thoughtful follow-through after project completion.

Bring practical ideas to strengthen processes and help a growing business operate even better.

What makes you a strong fit

At least 4–5 years of direct commercial building project management for a general contractor, with personal responsibility for the complete project across multiple trades.

Approximately 4–5 years of meaningful involvement in commercial estimating; you need not have been the lead estimator, but must understand scopes, pricing and bid processes.

Experience with commercial buildings such as manufacturing, multi-use facilities, metal buildings or pre-engineered metal buildings is especially relevant.

Strong ownership, follow-through, judgment, communication and client-relationship skills.

Able to work onsite in Lincoln, Nebraska; this is not a remote or hybrid role.

Compensation and benefits

Base salary: $100,000–$125,000; flexibility for an exceptional candidate (final offer based on experience).

Annual performance bonus opportunity.

Company SUV with fuel, insurance and maintenance covered; work-related expenses supported.

Medical coverage with approximately 80% of premiums paid by the employer; family dental premiums covered.

401(k) with company match (eligibility/waiting period applies).

Financial-advisor benefit and meaningful investment in continuing education, training and professional development.

Potential relocation assistance for the right candidate.

Confidential search led by Insight Recruitment. The client’s identity will be shared with qualified candidates at the appropriate stage of the process.

Trust Administrator

https://jobs.insightrecruitment.com/jb/Trust-Administrator-Jobs-in-York-Nebraska/14353647

Trust Administrator

York, Murray, Columbus, Shelton or Tilden, Nebraska | $100,000–$110,000 Base Salary + Profit Sharing + Annual Incentive

On-Site | Full-Time

If you're an experienced trust professional who enjoys the technical and relationship side of the work—but would prefer to do it with a strong team behind you rather than feeling like you're managing a book entirely on your own—this opportunity deserves a closer look.

Insight Recruitment has partnered with a highly respected, long-established Nebraska financial institution to hire an experienced Trust Administrator for a well-established Trust Department.

This isn't a role where you'll simply be handed a stack of accounts and expected to figure everything out alone.

You'll join an approximately 20-person Trust team with experienced administrators, dedicated trust operations professionals and assistants working collaboratively behind the scenes. The department meets regularly to discuss accounts, troubleshoot challenges, share knowledge and stay ahead of changes in the industry.

You'll still have significant autonomy and ownership of your portfolio—but you'll have support when you need it.

What You'll Be Responsible For

You'll manage a substantial and varied client portfolio that may include approximately 250–300 accounts representing roughly $275–$300 million in assets.

Your work will span personal trusts, estates, agencies, IRAs and other fiduciary relationships, including complex trust and estate matters involving agricultural assets, real estate, foundations and multigenerational family wealth.

You'll serve as a primary point of contact for clients and beneficiaries and regularly coordinate with attorneys, tax professionals and other advisors.

Responsibilities include:

Administering personal trusts, estates, agencies and other fiduciary relationships

Interpreting trust and estate documents and determining fiduciary responsibilities

Building trusted relationships with clients, beneficiaries and families

Coordinating with attorneys, CPAs, tax professionals and other outside advisors

Ensuring tax and other account obligations are properly addressed

Working collaboratively with Trust Operations and other Trust Administrators

Participating in regular Trust Administration Committee meetings where the team reviews accounts, discusses new business and works through complex situations together

Maintaining relationships with attorneys and other centers of influence

Helping retain relationships and assets across generations

Contributing ideas that can improve processes and help continue modernizing the department

This is not primarily a sales position. New business tends to develop organically through strong client relationships, attorney relationships and referrals rather than individual sales quotas.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

You're not the "Lone Ranger."

Experienced fiduciary professionals know how different the same job can feel depending on the support structure behind it.

Here, Trust Administrators have dedicated operations and administrative support and work closely with one another. When a complicated client or family situation arises, you're not expected to solve everything in isolation.

The philosophy is simple: own your work, but don't work alone.

The department has momentum.

The Trust leader describes the last two years as the strongest period the department has experienced. Greater clarity, training and transparency have created a team where people understand not only their responsibilities, but how their work connects to everyone else's.

They're looking for someone who wants to become part of that mission—not simply manage a book.

There is real leadership runway.

For someone interested in leadership, this position could ultimately create a succession path into Trust leadership.

If leadership isn't your goal, that's okay too. Someone who loves trust administration and wants to remain a strong individual contributor long term can build a career here as well.

You'll work with meaningful, complex relationships.

The portfolio includes multigenerational agricultural families, influential community members and sophisticated trust and estate relationships.

This isn't transactional work. You'll develop relationships with people and families over many years and often across generations.

Work-life balance matters.

The typical schedule is approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM / 40 hours per week.

Occasionally, a client or foundation meeting may fall outside normal business hours. When that happens, the manager believes in giving people flexibility back elsewhere in the week.

This is an on-site position, but flexibility around real life is part of the management philosophy.

Who We're Looking For

There are several backgrounds that could translate well.

You may already be a:

Trust Administrator

Trust Officer

Senior Trust Officer

Fiduciary Advisor

Estate Settlement Officer

Wealth Management/Fiduciary Professional

Estate Planning Attorney

Experienced Estate Planning Paralegal

CPA or tax professional with significant trust, estate and fiduciary exposure

The strongest candidates will generally bring at least five years of directly relevant experience and enough hands-on exposure to step into a meaningful portfolio without starting from scratch.

A CTFA or JD is highly desirable, but strong candidates with substantial relevant experience who can pursue the appropriate credential after joining may also be considered.

For attorneys, the background should be meaningfully concentrated in estate planning, trusts, estates, probate and related work rather than a general legal practice.

Experienced estate-planning paralegals may also be considered when they have significant hands-on exposure to trusts and estates and are interested in pursuing the CTFA.

You'll also need:

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Sound judgment and the ability to navigate sensitive family and beneficiary situations

General investment knowledge appropriate to fiduciary administration

The confidence to make decisions and occasionally tell a client or beneficiary "no"

A self-directed work style without needing to be micromanaged

A collaborative mindset and willingness to ask for or offer help

Strong relationship-building skills

A stable employment history demonstrating your ability to build long-term client relationships

Location

York, Nebraska is the preferred location, but the right candidate may also work from one of four additional Nebraska offices:

York — preferred

Murray

Columbus

Shelton

Tilden

This flexibility significantly expands where the right person can be based while still being part of the broader Trust team.

Candidates working from a location other than York should expect periodic travel to York for meetings and other business needs. Mileage is reimbursed.

This is an on-site position; recurring hybrid or remote arrangements are not available.

Relocation assistance may be considered for an exceptional candidate, including someone interested in returning to Nebraska.

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated base salary is $100,000–$110,000, with flexibility for exceptionally qualified candidates.

Additional compensation and benefits include:

Annual incentive program

Profit-sharing contribution after eligibility requirements are met

$1,000 new-hire bonus paid in two installments

Medical, dental and vision insurance

Traditional and Roth 401(k) options

Employer-paid life insurance and long-term disability for eligible employees

Additional voluntary insurance options

Flexible spending accounts

PTO, vacation and paid holidays

Employee wellness resources and fitness/wellness assistance

Professional development, training, outside schools and conventions

Employee assistance program

Community involvement opportunities

If you're looking for a place where you can own meaningful client relationships, work on sophisticated fiduciary matters and still have an experienced team beside you, we'd like to talk.

We’re adding a senior-level Business Central ERP Developer to our internal IT team during a period of rapid growth and operational transformation. This is a newly created role within a long-established, family-owned organization that continues to invest heavily in its systems and internal capabilities.

This is not a consulting or partner role. This position serves as the internal owner of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment, with direct responsibility for both hands-on development and the ongoing evolution of the ERP platform in close partnership with the business.

Role Snapshot

Hands-on AL development with a strong focus on business process understanding

Deep involvement in reviewing, improving, and shaping operational workflows

Directing and overseeing outsourced or partner development when needed

Strong preference for standard functionality and scalable design over unnecessary customization

Initial onsite onboarding required, with long-term remote flexibility

What You’ll Do

Own the day-to-day technical health, design, and evolution of the Business Central environment

Design, develop, and maintain solutions in Business Central using AL and modern, extension-based practices

Work closely with business stakeholders to understand end-to-end processes across operations, fulfillment, finance, and supply chain

Evaluate requirements and determine when to leverage standard Business Central functionality, configuration, process change, or custom development

Perform hands-on coding while also serving as the internal authority on ERP design decisions

Support and enhance integrations between Business Central and third-party platforms, including shipping, payment processing, EDI, document management, and treasury/cash management systems

Provide technical direction and oversight for outsourced or partner-led development, including reviewing code, designs, and deliverables

It is designed for someone who values ownership, accountability, and long-term impact within a single organization.

This role is not intended for someone seeking a formal people-management position or a narrowly scoped, heads-down development role with minimal business interaction.

Work Model

Initial onsite presence in Knoxville is required for onboarding and immersion in the business

Long-term remote flexibility after onboarding

Occasional onsite travel may be required based on project needs

What We’re Looking For

Proficiency with AL and extension-based development

Demonstrated ability to understand and work through complex business processes within an ERP environment

Experience supporting or integrating Business Central with third-party systems such as shipping solutions, payment platforms, EDI, document management, or treasury systems

Comfort operating as the internal owner of an ERP system rather than in a consulting capacity

Ability to balance speed, stability, and long-term maintainability in a fast-paced environment

Self-directed, dependable, and focused on building durable internal solutions

With the facility and finance organization taking shape, they're adding a Financial Controller who wants the opportunity to get in early, work broadly across the accounting function and grow alongside the business.

It's a rare combination: the chance to help build something new with the backing and stability of an established company.

This Could Be Your Next Step

You don't necessarily need to already be a Controller at a large manufacturing company.

You may be a strong Senior Accountant, Cost Accountant, Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller or smaller-company Controller who's ready for more ownership and a clearer path forward.

What matters most is that you've developed solid accounting fundamentals, understand a manufacturing environment and enjoy being close enough to the numbers to understand what's really happening in the business.

You'll Have the Opportunity To

Take increasing ownership of the accounting function as responsibilities transition and the business grows

Work across month-end close, journal entries, GL and reconciliations

Develop further depth in manufacturing cost and inventory accounting

Help establish dependable accounting processes and practical controls

Meaningful accounting experience within manufacturing or a plant environment

Strong accounting fundamentals

Exposure to manufacturing cost accounting

Exposure to inventory accounting and controls

The ability and curiosity to investigate variances and discrepancies

ERP experience and comfort learning new systems

Strong follow-through and accountability

A desire to grow with the organization for the long term

Experience in dairy or beverage manufacturing is not required. Strong accounting experience from food manufacturing, protein, ingredients, agricultural processing, CPG, industrial manufacturing or another plant-based environment can be highly relevant.

The organization uses NetSuite. Direct experience is a strong plus, but it's not a requirement.

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated base salary is $100,000–$135,000, depending on experience, plus:

100% employer-paid family medical insurance

Dental and vision coverage

PTO flexibility

401(k)

Relocation assistance may be available

This position is fully onsite in Seward, Nebraska.

Interested in Building Rather Than Just Maintaining?

If you're a manufacturing accountant who's ready to broaden your responsibilities—or a Controller who likes being hands-on and sees the appeal of getting involved while a new operation is still taking shape—we'd like to hear from you.

Apply today, and we'll be happy to share more about the company, the facility and where this opportunity could take you.

A strong background within the construction industry.

A deep understanding of construction technology and ERP ecosystems.

Experience leading ERP implementations or consulting teams.

A proven ability to develop people and build high-performing organizations.

The executive presence to advise CEOs, CFOs and senior leadership teams with confidence.

Experience with construction accounting, technology assessments, consulting leadership or P&L responsibility would certainly strengthen your background, but what matters most is your ability to lead people and help clients succeed.

Why you may find this opportunity different

Many executive roles promise influence.

Few genuinely deliver it.

Here, you'll have the opportunity to help shape strategy, improve delivery, strengthen client relationships, develop future leaders and build a practice with significant room for growth—all while working alongside a leadership team that's committed to investing in its success.

If you've reached a point in your career where building something meaningful is more exciting than simply maintaining what's already been built, we'd welcome a confidential conversation.

Compensation: Approximately $300,000+ total compensation (base plus bonus), with flexibility for an exceptional candidate.

Location: Remote within the United States, with travel as appropriate to support clients, your team and the business.

Confidential Search

Insight Recruitment has been retained to conduct this confidential executive search. If this opportunity aligns with where you'd like to take your career, we'd welcome the opportunity to speak with you in confidence.

https://jobs.insightrecruitment.com/jb/Financial-Controller-Jobs-in-Seward-Nebraska/14149366

Manufacturing Accounting Leadership | Seward, Nebraska | On-site

If you are a strong manufacturing accountant who knows cost and inventory accounting deeply and you have been looking for the opportunity to help build something rather than simply maintain it, this is worth a conversation.

We are conducting a confidential search for a newly created Financial Controller role supporting a brand-new dairy beverage processing facility in Seward, Nebraska. The operation is being launched by an established, successful dairy business, giving you the chance to join early and help shape the finance function without taking on the risk of a traditional startup.

What Makes This Opportunity Different

Newly created role - you are not stepping into someone else's job or inheriting an established way of doing things.

Join before production fully ramps, giving you time to understand the business and establish strong accounting practices early.

High visibility with the CFO, COO, Plant Manager and ownership.

Real opportunity to influence how financial information is structured, reported and used as the operation grows.

Long-term growth potential as the plant, branded-products business and finance organization expand.

What You Will Own

Core accounting for the manufacturing operation, including full-cycle accounting responsibilities.

Month-end close, general ledger, reconciliations and financial accuracy.

Manufacturing cost accounting, including analysis of standards, variances and the drivers behind product cost.

Inventory accounting, valuation, reconciliations, physical inventory/cycle counts, controls and variance investigation.

Internal controls and accounting processes that support a growing plant environment.

Timely, useful reporting for the CFO, COO, Plant Manager and ownership.

Financial analysis that helps leadership understand what is happening in the business and, over time, identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve profitability.

Working within NetSuite and helping the organization continue getting more value from its accounting and reporting systems.

The Background We Are Most Interested In

Substantial accounting experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.

Strong hands-on cost accounting expertise.

Strong hands-on inventory accounting expertise.

Broad accounting ownership across close, GL, reconciliations and controls.

Ability to investigate variances and explain the business reason behind the numbers.

Comfort working in a lean, growing environment where responsibilities may evolve as the organization scales.

Clear communication and the judgment to give different leaders the financial information they need, when they need it.

Relevant backgrounds may include Plant Controller, Manufacturing Controller, Financial Controller, Controller, Manufacturing Accounting Manager, Plant Accounting Manager, Plant Finance Manager, Assistant Controller, or another manufacturing accounting role with comparable responsibility. Food, beverage and dairy experience can be useful, but strong manufacturing accounting expertise is what matters most.

Systems

The company uses NetSuite. Direct NetSuite experience is a strong plus, but experience with other modern ERP systems and the ability to learn quickly are equally important.

Compensation & Benefits

Base compensation approximately $130,000-$170,000, depending on experience and fit.

Annual bonus opportunity.

100% employer-paid family medical insurance.

Dental and vision coverage.

PTO flexibility.

401(k) program.

Relocation assistance available when needed.

Why This Could Be a Great Long-Term Move

This is a chance to join while the operation is still being built, become a trusted accounting partner to senior leadership, and grow as the organization grows. The finance structure is expected to expand alongside both the manufacturing operation and the branded-products side of the business, creating meaningful room for broader responsibility over time.

If you enjoy digging into manufacturing numbers, understanding what is driving cost and inventory, and turning good accounting into better business decisions, I would be happy to tell you more.
